Health & Safety Field Representative

The Health and Safety Field Representative is responsible for providing complete, thorough, and professional health, safety and environmental advice, for promoting a positive safety culture and for anticipating and assessing health and safety hazards in the field
Responsibilities:
o Provide leadership and advice for maintaining workplace health & safety compliance.
o Implement health & safety standards with field personnel.
o Conduct site tours and hazard assessments.
o Assist and
coach
site management to perform safety functions.
o Conduct health & safety training.
o Assist with the effective and efficient implementation of corporate safety compliance program directives and provisions.
o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety devices, processes, and procedures.
o Establish a safety network with client safety departments and local governmental and regulatory officials and personnel.
Requirements:
o 1
year of progressive health and safety experience
o API TES (Tank Entry
supervisor
) certification required
o Experience in refinery safety programs
o Experience in sour water, reactive iron sulfide treatment plans
o Previous oil or industrial experience
