We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team.
As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities.
This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed - Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing - Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed - Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively This is a Part-time position, Monday - Friday 4 - 6 hours per day.
