Responsibilities:
Greets customers and take orders-operates cash register-collects payment from customers and makes changes.
Makes fast, accurate, and consistent sandwiches, complying with all portion sizes, recipes, and all systems and procedures.
Trains new employees utilizing Fast Track and accompanying paperwork.
Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness.
Ensure that every customer receives world-class customer service.
Completes daily food preparation (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production) Completes closing procedures.
Completes daily and weekly paperwork, including completing systems and procedures punch lists with 100% accuracy and integrity.
Receives and stores product.
Audits previous shift's systems and procedures for 100% integrity and completeness.
Completes preventative maintenance and upkeep on the store's equipment and supplies.
Maintains the restaurant's cleanliness and sanitization, including all tables, floors, windows, beverage stations, restrooms, etc.
Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Jimmy John's Dress code.
Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments with a sense urgency in all tasks.
Performs other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.
Position requires bending, reaching, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, standing and moving about the unit the entire workday Special Requirements:
Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business dictates within the confines of the law.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
Ability to handle and resolve customer issues.
Ability to handle and resolve employee issues.
Ability to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel).
Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations.
